Hello everyone. My apologies for the long delay from my last post. Let’s just say that I’ve been going thru a reinventing process where I’ve started to focus more on me and being a tiny bit selfish in making sure that I make time to smile wider. I give advice to all of you to smile and it’s time that I start listening to my own advice.
These past few days I stepped into my fears. I kept wondering if I can go back and unwind history so I can’t be seen my mortal and immortal eyes.
However, life isn’t perfect. Believing that life isn’t perfect is even better than just saying it. It was my first time letting go of being comfortable, cozy, and lazy. I had embraced the nostalgic feelings of fear, potential, and hoped for a brighter future.
“Many of our fears are tissue-paper thin, and a single courageous step would carry us clear through them.’ ~ Brandon Francis
You see, we as human beings fear of the unknown and fear the worst case scenario. Again saying to someone, ” it’s okay don’t worry about it,” is different than saying it to yourself. How can we live by our words instead of ignore them?
We create a world without barriers and eliminate stigma. Be different and create change.
Sometimes we feel ashamed that it took us ## years to accomplish something. Why didn’t so and so help me? Why didn’t this opportunity come before me at a given time when I was more free?
Well let me tell you something guys and gals…….THE ENEMY IS NOT YOUR EMPLOYEE, COWORKER, FRIEND, FAMILY…..IT’S YOU!!!!!!
It took a very VERY long time for me to realize that I was my own demon. I was my own enemy. I was the one I was the one creating problems and starting finger pointing games because it was easier for me. Do you know why? By default us humans play the blame game because we want to think that we are perfect though we’re not. Taking that first step to admitting that you’re wrong and repeating it frequently will help you to realize that you can fix it with the right support. Plus, you know how and where to get the support because the problem has been in the back of your mind for awhile. This is called eliminating stigma and letting go of where we are comfortable in.
Once we get too comfortable in 1 spot, it’s hard to let go. At the same time that thing we fear is stopping us to FIND OUT THE TRUTH. Yes, the truth will hurt you down to the core of who you are but it will set you free. You will be in denial and the road to acceptance is a long one but it’s possible. This type of mindset is called positive mental conditioning. Positive mental conditioning will be talked about in a later post this month; however, I do want to point out that not everyone walks on this road at the same pace their friends do. We can slow down, speed up, and back pedal. However once we look back and go backwards the world will seem strange and you’ll want to catch up to where you left off going forward.
I am on the road to positive mental conditioning where I am reinventing the world around me by being me. So, who’s with me? Who wants to create a world without barriers by eliminating stigma and stepping into their fears to create positive change?
