Chesapeake Bay: Part 1

Good evening peeps! Between July 17th-18th, we did a roadtrip to the Chesapeake Bay, specifically Kent Island, Maryland.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kent Narrows, which was a wonderful bayfront view of the Chesapeake Bay. The first day was basically arriving at the hotel and inhaling the magnificent views of the bay, restaurants, and the surrounding meadows. For lunch, we stopped by a pizza place called Carmine’s N.Y. Pizza located on off of Route 301. I was so hungry that I didn’t get to take a picture of our food and just went straight for the grubs.

The hotel lobby and view from the balcony was wonderful. I tried to do a vlog (video blog) but didn’t work out properly because my eyes kept switching from the mini screen to the camera lens. I’ll keep practicing since practice makes perfect, haha.

We decided to take a walk outside by the marina and enjoy a full, blown sunset as a kick-off to a nice 2-night vacation at the Chesapeake Bay. I’m glad we made the hike, what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below.

The next post will be about our adventure on a boat while sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, enjoying the historic landmarks and the cool summer breeze. Stay tuned!
